Cardus.AI Credit System
Credits work as the fuel of Cardus. They are consumed only by actions that require intensive AI processing, such as running and processing interviews or classifying narratives.
This model supports everything from projects with hundreds of interviewees to smaller research efforts with just a few participants, ensuring fair pricing based on actual usage.
Creating projects, editing content, clustering narratives, generating cluster summaries, exploring results, navigating dashboards, and using Cardus Chat do not consume credits.
Purchasing Credits
Credits are purchased in packs, with a base price of USD 0,10 per credit, offering progressive discounts on larger packs.
Credits are purchased directly within the app by users with an active plan.
After purchase, credits are added to the user’s wallet, which can then be allocated to specific projects, allowing any Researcher to use them at the most appropriate time.

Frequently Asked Questions
An Owner is the person who creates and owns a project. They can do everything a Researcher can and, in addition, can delete the project and transfer project credits to their personal wallet.
A Researcher is someone invited to actively work on a research project. They can set up interviews, extract narratives, run analyses, create dashboards, and invite others as Researchers or Readers. Researchers have autonomy to conduct the work and use project credits as needed.
A Reader can securely access the project’s results Dashboard. They can also use Cardus Chat to ask questions, run searches, perform cross-analysis, and explore insights based on the research data. Readers do not need a paid plan or subscription — they just need to be added by an Owner or Researcher. This role is ideal for stakeholders, leaders, and end clients.
No. Credits never expire, but you need an active subscription to use them.
Yes. The Pro plan includes a 14-day free trial with full access to Cardus features. You can create projects, run research, and explore the platform with no upfront commitment.
You keep access until the end of your billing period. After that, your projects become inactive: Owners, Researchers, and Readers lose access. Your data isn’t lost and can be exported. Remaining credits are frozen. After 12 months of inactivity, we may delete the project data.
At the moment, Cardus does not offer a standard Enterprise plan. For organizations that need a large number of licenses or have specific requirements, we can discuss custom commercial conditions. Get in touch with us to talk.
